As a life-long resident of the East Bay, Cathy Baigent has witnessed the area’s transformation first-hand and has deep roots in the Diablo Valley. In fact, her father, brother, and husband have been builders in the area for more than 60 years. It’s these strong ties to the community that make Cathy a preeminent specialist — one who understands the complexities of buying or selling a home.
With her sincere and open approach, Cathy gets to know her clients on a personal level and guides them through the transaction each step of the way. She utilizes her strong network of resources and tools to ensure the transaction goes smoothly, is as stress-free as possible, and yields the most beneficial results. Whether a client is buying or selling a home, expanding their family, or downsizing, Cathy’s attention to detail and strong negotiation skills are unwavering — her goal is to exceed her client’s expectations each and every time.
Cathy is an active member of the Contra Costa Women’s Council of Realtors and is personally committed to several philanthropic and community organizations in the area, including, the Contra Costa Animal Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, and Home for a Home.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, skiing, and equestrian activities. She is also actively involved in her church and the local community.
